Getting away
One weekend a year we leave the Amstelcampushal behind. Bags in the car, bats packed, and the whole club heads off together. A house somewhere out of town, a few tables, and all the time in the world.
No league. No clock. Just pingpong, fresh air and good conversation — exactly what US stands for.
What we do
A few games during the day. A walk, if the legs are still up to it. In the evening we cook together, top up the glasses, and talk nonsense deep into the night. Sleep can wait.
It’s not about winning or losing. It’s about being together. That feeling of coming home, even a hundred kilometres from home.
Who it’s for
Everyone. Student or retired, diehard or beginner, twenty-year member or brand new. Whoever comes along belongs. And whoever comes once just comes again the next year.
History
The US weekend is a fixture on the club calendar. A tradition that invites itself back every year: the same faces, a new destination, the same amount of fun. The photos end up on the wall, the stories stick around for years.
