Open training nights
Just started a new study in a new city, maybe even a new country? Time to build your connections. Joining a sports club like US table tennis is the perfect way.
At our club the social side is key. We’re fanatic about our game, but everyone performs at their own level and enjoys a drink after training.
We organise open training nights on:
- Monday 5 September
- Wednesday 7 September
- Thursday 8 September
- Monday 12 September
- Wednesday 14 September
- Thursday 15 September
Monday — Amstelcampushal (Tweede Boerhaavestraat 10, Amsterdam): free play from 19:00 to 21:30, near Weesperplein (Metro 51, 53, 54, trams 7 & 10). No organised training; practise your moves and play matches, then a drink at the bar.
Wednesday — Tempo Team (Zuidelijke Wandelweg 43, Amsterdam): sessions for beginners to advanced from 19:00 to 20:00, and advanced to expert from 20:00 to 21:00. After 21:00, free play for all members. The bar is open for a cold drink afterwards.
Thursday — Universum (Science Park 306, Amsterdam): student training from 19:30 to 21:00. Free play from 21:00 to 22:30, to test your new moves. As you saw during the IntreeGames, this location also has a nice bar to relax after playing.
During the two weeks of Open Student Nights you can try out for free, to see if table tennis and our club suit you before becoming a member. See you soon!
